Community Connections
Do you sometimes need a little space?
I needed some space the other day, so Scott and Sidney went on a drive and found a beautiful spot to go for a walk.
Can you figure out where Sidney is in this picture? I'll give you a hint; you have been there.
Reading
This week the children are getting familiar with a new online library. They are eagerly reading new books- some with familiar characters and some with new characters! They have a daily reading reflection to support writing in response to their reading and more voice in our distance learning.
Math
We have been building and showing equations in different ways. It is important that we can read and understand what an addition equation means. You can use cubes, 10 frames, number trees, number lines, and number racks to show equations!
We Are TEACHERS!
In the classroom we have many opportunities to learn from our friends. During distance learning we have used recordings, pictures, and videos of our friends to teach something new or remind us of our tools. We can learn from every picture, story, writing, or video!
